Terms & Conditions

When booking a SUP lesson with SUP Barmouth, please be aware of the following terms & conditions that apply

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

Stand Up Paddle Boarding may carry attendant risks. Participants must be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own action and involvement.

All sessions are staffed by appropriately qualified BSUPA Instructors in accordance with the SUP BARMOUTH health and safety policy. SUP BARMOUTH has a proactive approach to staff training and occasionally trainee instructors are involved in sessions, however they will be under the supervision of a qualified instructor at all times.

Whilst every reasonable attempt will be made to deliver sessions, SUP BARMOUTH reserve the right to cancel or modify the session due to safety considerations or factors beyond our control. In the event of weather conditions that are unsafe to teach in, SUP Barmouth may be forced to cancel lessons. Should this occur we will happily accommodate you on another suitable lesson date at your discretion or give you a full refund - whichever you prefer.

SUP Barmouth reserve the right not to refund fees paid if customers choose to cancel a booking, decide not to attend a lesson/course for whatever reason, or arrive too late to participate in their lesson/course. We therefore recommend that all customers take out suitable insurance to cover such circumstances.

As part of the continual review of safety and associated considerations, the conditions of booking are subject to change, clarification and modification at any time. Only the fully qualified stand up paddle boarding instructors present can authorise such changes before or during the session.

All students must be over eight years of age and be of a reasonable level of general fitness.

Parental consent is required for individuals under the age of 18 participating in SUP Barmouth stand up paddle boarding activities. In booking this activity the parent, guardian or authorised adult is agreeing that they have checked the conditions of participation for Stand up Paddle Boarding at SUP Barmouth in full, agree to the conditions of participation and allows the person under 18 years old specified below to participate.
